Per the NAR settlement, all references to commission or compensation must be removed from the MLS.
To prevent an MLS fine, please review your listing(s) and remove any references to commission or compensation in public remarks, broker remarks, or any other remarks fields.
Are Seller Concessions allowed in Public or Broker Remarks?
Yes, Seller concessions are not synonymous with commissions. If your seller is offering any type of concession to the buyer, make sure to select Yes in the Negotiable Seller Concession field.
Can I enter my website link in the Broker Remarks?
You can link your website in the Broker Remarks if the link does not directly open to a page that reveals compensation offers.
Although you can create a path to compensation details from the Broker Remarks to your website with a few steps, there must be at least three clicks from the Broker Remarks in the MLS to the compensation details on your website.
Example:
Click (1) Send Realtors® to your home page or a landing page on your website.
Click (2) Sends Realtors® to a landing page or perhaps a listing search page on your website.
Click (3) Allows you to reveal compensation details to Realtors® coming from the MLS.
