PALM BEACH COUNTY HOME SALES SURGE AS MARKET CLOSES YEAR WITH STRONG ACTIVITY

Palm Beach County’s housing market closed out 2025 with a notable increase in activity, reflecting sustained buyer engagement even during a typically slower time of year. Closed sales rose 23.0% year-over-year in December, with 1,269 single-family homes sold, up from 1,032 in December 2024. New pending sales also increased 13.4% year-over-year to 1,007, signaling continued momentum heading into the new year
Inventory levels tightened, reinforcing a market that continues to lean competitive for well-priced homes. Active listings declined 4.7% year-over-year to 5,370, bringing the market to a 4.6-month supply of inventory, which remains below balanced-market territory. Home prices held firm while higher-end sales drove overall market value higher. The median sale price increased 1.6% year-over-year to $632,500, while the average sale price climbed 26.9% to $1,353,599.
