St. Lucie County’s housing market closed out 2025 with increased sales activity, reflecting steady buyer engagement as conditions continued to normalize. Closed sales rose 16.3% year-over-year in December, with 470 single-family homes sold compared to 404 in December 2024, pointing to sustained demand even as the market shifted toward balance.
Inventory levels stabilized, giving buyers more options without pushing the market into oversupply. Active listings edged down slightly (-0.4%) year-over-year to 2,284 homes, resulting in a 5.0-month supply of inventory, which places the market at balanced-market territory.
