For example, here at Broward Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors®, we are committed to fair housing for all, and this policy is embodied in the Realtors®' Code of Ethics.
The Fair Housing Act was enacted in 1968 to ensure everyone had equal access to housing regardless of their background. Realtors® are responsible for ensuring that they uphold these laws by educating themselves about fair housing, advocating against discrimination, and providing their clients are not discriminated against.
