NAR Offers ABR® Designation Coursework at No Cost

 

The National Association of Realtors® (NAR) announced that throughout 2024, they are offering an online version of the popular Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation course free to members. The course is typically around $295 but will not include continuing education credits.

This ABR Designation Course is the first step needed to help every Realtor® earn an ABR® designation, and it focuses on key information and skills needed to prepare, articulate, and demonstrate their value to their customers. The course is more than just the first step toward earning your designation. NAR recognizes that it helps focus on the skills and information needed when working with buyers. The ABR® designation is an excellent opportunity for Realtors® to showcase expertise and excellence in buyer representation. NAR aims to provide those real estate professionals with valuable insights and information to help them stand out from the crowd. 

Some of the key topics this course touches on are how to walk buyers through written buyer representation agreements, advocate for their client’s best interests throughout the transaction, articulate their value to the buyer client, and work with data to complete insightful market analyses, explain the range of financing options available to clients, learn how to stay on top of emerging trends and help build relationships that carry beyond the closing. This course also covers how real estate professionals can promote themselves in the buyer’s market and grow their business using the updated ABR® benefits.

NAR believes that Realtors® can level up their business with the tools and knowledge to better guide their clients with recently updated information and research relevant to today’s market. This course explores every aspect of residential real estate transactions from a buyer’s perspective and can help to attract more clients. With a live interactive webinar or the ability to learn at their own pace,  Realtors® can benefit from the in-person classroom setting or from the convenience of their own home.
