Code of Ethics FAQs

  • Yes, all Realtors® must complete ethics training every 3-year cycle and submit their Certificate of Completion to the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) or their local Realtor® association (Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors®).

  • Cycle 7 is the 3-year period between January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024. You need to submit a Certificate of Completion to report that you finished your training between the dates of January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024.

  • More than likely, you already completed ethics training in your 14-Hour License Renewal course or through a stand-alone Ethics course. To check the status of your ethics training, click here and your username will be your NAR Member ID.

Please Note: New Member Orientation and 45-Hour Post Licensing courses will not fulfill your ethics training requirement.

  • You can complete a stand-alone ethics course ASAP by clicking here: Includes 3CE Credits | Excludes CE Credits

  • You can submit a Certificate of Completion to report that you finished your training on or after January 1, 2022 by clicking here.

  • Next, you should complete and report your ethics training for Cycle 8 (January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2027). You can complete training through a stand-alone ethics course by clicking here: Includes 3CE Credits | Excludes CE Credits. Then, submit a Certificate of Completion to report that you finished your training on or after January 1, 2025 by clicking here.

Please Note: If you completed ethics training for Cycle 7 in 2025, you will still need to complete ethics training for Cycle 8 between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2027.
