Contract Changes on Sales to Foreign Buyers Law

 

The new Interests of Foreign Countries law (SB 264) goes into effect July 1. To prepare for these changes, Florida Realtors® Law & Policy staff will host a Zoom webinar on Thursday, June 29, at 11 a.m. ET.


The new Interests of Foreign Countries law (SB 264) goes into effect July 1. Expect a revision to the Florida Realtors® Contracts for Sale and Purchase, including one that includes notice to buyers that they must sign an affidavit at the time of purchase verifying that they’re not prohibited from purchasing the property.

To prepare for these changes, Florida Realtors® Law & Policy staff will host a Zoom webinar on Thursday, June 29, at 11 a.m. ET. To participate, register in advance. Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email that explains how to join the Zoom presentation.
