St. Lucie County Mandates Masks in Public Places

Starting on July 15, everyone must wear facial coverings in public places in St. Lucie County.

Under Emergency Order No. 20-049, facial coverings must be worn at all indoor places, as well as outdoors when social distancing cannot be practiced.

In addition, masks must be worn by customers who are dining inside and outside of restaurants, except when they are actively consuming food and beverages.

A facial covering includes any covering which snugly covers the nose and mouth and is secured in place. Persons who wear masks should review the CDC and Florida Department of Health guidelines regarding properly and safely applying, removing and cleaning masks.
