Realtors® with a March 31 to September 30, 2020 license renewal deadline have been granted an additional extension until December 31, 2020.

Realtors® with a March 31 to September 30, 2020 license renewal deadline have been granted an additional extension until December 31, 2020 per an emergency order filed by the Department of Business & Professional Regulations (DBPR).

If you are renewing your real estate license for the first time, you are required by the DBPR to take a 45-hour post-licensing course. If you are renewing your real estate license as a broker for the first time, you must take a 60-hour post-licensing course. All others are required to take 14-hours of continuing education, which consists of 8-hours of specialty credits, 3-hours of ethics, and 3-hours of core law.

There are many ways to complete your education requirements online, such as registering for Virtual CE through your local Realtor® Association. Also, The CE Shop is currently offering 25% off post-licensing and continuing education with the promo code: June25. Meanwhile, VanEd is offering up to 30% off on online real estate courses and packages until June 21.

You can also download the DBPR Mobile App to see when your license is up for renewal, your education requirements for renewal, and your education credits history.
