Broward to Move to Phase 2 Reopening Monday, 9/14

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced that all of Florida, including Broward County, is in Phase 2 of reopening, effective Monday, September 14.

Broward County retains the ability to close certain activities; however, there will be no change to how businesses are currently operating when Phase 2 takes effect on Monday, as existing Emergency Orders remain in effect.

Additional openings are expected in Broward in the coming weeks. Despite the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations rescinding the state’s Amended Emergency Order 2020-09, bars in Broward County will remain closed.
