REALTORS® IN BROWARD COUNTY UNITE AS INVENTORY CONTINUES TO RISE
Just in! January 2023 reports have been released from Florida Realtors® detailing recent real estate activity. The reports compare year-over-year data. Here are statistics on single-family homes.
The median sale price climbed to $540,000, up 8.0%, with the median percent of the original listing price received being 94.8%, down 5.2% from January of 2022.
"Inventory continues to rise with 3,454 active listings, up 110.6% and with 3.0 months supply of inventory,” says Chris Krzemien, President of Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors®. “We are harnessing the increasing inventory and are hosting a weekend event on February 25th and 26th called 'Open House Weekend.' Since Buyers have more options, we are uniting Realtors® to schedule their open houses during that weekend, creating traffic and visibility from consumers.”
Consumers can preview open houses at OnlyARealtor.com/open-house, and Realtors® can participate by scheduling an open house in the MLS on February 25th and 26th.
