Deal Maker Awards Announced by the Realtors® Commercial Alliance
Realtors® Commercial Alliance members were honored with Deal Maker Awards for their achievements and impact on commercial real estate in 2020.
Members of The Realtors® Commercial Alliance (RCA), a division of the Broward, Palm Beaches and St. Lucie Realtors® were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments and contributions to the commercial real estate industry. The awards were based on complexity, environmental concerns, financing, proficiency in overcoming obstacles and the overall impact the business deal had on the community.
Erik Johnson with Gator Commercial was named 2020 Realtor® of the Year. Joey Kosinski from GIT Florida Title Services was named the 2020 Affiliate of the Year.
In addition, seven local agents were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments including: Alan Steinberg of Keyes Commercial was presented with the Business Broker of the Year for the business sale of a privately held staffing company in Fort Lauderdale. Fred Barboni of Coastal Realty Advisors and Alan Steinberg of Keyes Commercial were awarded the Special Purpose Deal of the Year for the sale of Fishing Headquarters in Fort Lauderdale. Paul Snitkin of Anderson & Carr received the Office Deal of the Year for the sale of a portfolio of office buildings in Boca Raton.
John McQueston of Campbell & Rosemurgy Real Estate was awarded the Retail Deal of the Year for the sale of a former furniture building in Tamarac. Blair Lee with Lighthouse Realty Service and Barry Frette from William Raveis Palm Beach received the Industrial Deal of the Year for the sale of a 26,500 square foot warehouse in Boynton Beach. Kevin Miller from KMX Affordable Housing was awarded the Land Deal of the Year for the sale of vacant land for future affordable housing in Belle Glade.
