RAPB + GFLR Partners with Paint Your Heart Out in Community Outreach Initiative

On Saturday, October 13th, Realtors® and Affiliates from the Realtors® of the Palm Beaches and Greater Fort Lauderdale (RAPB + GFLR) went out to help revitalize a home at Gramercy Park in West Palm Beach.

RAPB + GFLR partnered with Paint Your Heart Out (PYHO) to complete the home renovation. PYHO is a 5013C nonprofit that is focused on revitalizing the community using recycled paint and helping homeowners in need. PYHO’s committee and program does not receive any local, state, or federal funding but rely solely on private contributions. The committee is 100% volunteer so all contributions go to painting and supplies.

PYHO has been serving Palm Beach County for over 25 years. RAPB + GFLR members are excited about their recent accomplishments in raising over $18,000 for the nonprofit. The success led RAPB + GFLR to schedule another event to get members out into the community to help Palm Beach County residents who are in need.

“It’s not easy work, but it’s extremely meaningful work,” said Jack Porrato, Chairman of the Central/Southern Community Outreach Taskforce for RAPB + GFLR. “It was phenomenal to see everybody roll up their sleeves and help out the less fortunate.”

RAPB + GFLR plans to partner with PYHO for more community outreach events at the start of 2019. Together, they will impact the less fortunate and make a difference across Palm Beach County.
