RWorld is Leading the Charge in Florida
Florida is the number one state for having the most Realtors®, beating out California and Texas. There are over 220,000 Realtors® who shape its real estate landscape, and RWorld Realtors® contribute nearly 20 percent to that overall amount with 42,000 members.
Steering Florida in the right direction regarding real estate can be a tall order, and that's why having the right people in the right positions to tackle challenges and hurdles is imperative. Creating opportunities for change doesn't happen overnight. It is a cultivated plan to help improve and spark positive growth in real estate for the future.
Florida Realtors® recently announced its 2024 leadership team, which consists of five devoted officers: Gia Arvin as President, Tim Weisheyer as President-Elect, Chuck Bonfiglio as Vice President, Jorge Guerra as Treasurer, and Jeffrey Levine as Secretary. Their diverse backgrounds and perspectives are a testament to inclusive growth, representation, and professional development.
Out of the five leaders, Chuck Bonfiglio and Jeffrey Levine are RWorld Members who have what it takes to keep Florida on the path to success. Chuck Bonfiglio has deep roots in real estate and Florida Realtors® leadership, with his late father once being a former president of Florida Realtors®. Chuck brings a wealth of knowledge and, in 2024, wants to focus on property insurance and ensuring that Realtors® can serve and educate consumers clearly and effectively.
Jeffrey Levine is the newest addition to the Florida Realtors® leadership team and offers a unique skill set and extensive knowledge of the MLS. In fact, in 2023, Jeffrey was the MLS Technology and Emerging Issues Advisory Board Chair for the National Association of Realtors®. In 2024, Jeffrey wants to create valuable products/services and ensure that Realtors® remain at the center of the transaction.
"RWorld is no stranger to raising up key leaders for the task at hand," said 2024 Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors® President David Serle. "Over the years, we have created a culture of fostering the potential in leaders who come through our association. We are proud that Chuck and Jeffrey have the opportunity to represent us at the state level."
As the real estate industry evolves, these leaders must ensure that Florida is productive, essential, and flourishing in 2024. There’s no doubt that with two RWorld Leaders at the top, Florida’s real estate is in good hands for the future.
