The Realtors® of the Palm Beaches and Greater Fort Lauderdale and the South Broward Board of Realtors®, a newly merged Realtor® Association, is hosting a back to school drive to benefit students who are homeless or from low income households. They are working closely with multiple charitable organizations across South Florida and the Treasure Coast to ensure every student receives the necessary school supplies to succeed. 

“Realtors® do more than just sell homes,” said Jeffrey Levine, the Realtor® Association’s President. “We are community-centric and are calling all local Realtors® to give back to South Florida students,” continues Levine.”

Treasure Coast

All of the school supplies collected at the Treasure Coast office will be donated to homeless students via St. Lucie Public Schools. The mission of St. Lucie Public Schools is to ensure all students graduate from safe and caring schools, equipped with the knowledge, skills, and desire to succeed.

Palm Beach County

Donations received at the Palm Beach County locations will be given to the Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County.  For more than 30 years, the Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County has been the voice for those who are experiencing homelessness. The Coalition has been a strong leader within the community by recommending policy changes to improve services, identifying strategies that produce results, and getting the message out to the community for prompt action. 

Broward County

The donations collected in Broward County will go to students via Women in Distress of Broward County. Women in Distress of Broward County is the only nationally accredited, state-certified, full service domestic violence center serving Broward County. Their mission is to stop domestic violence abuse for everyone through intervention, education and advocacy. 

The back to school collection boxes are sponsored by All My Son’s Moving & Storage, Grose’s Interstate Moving, and College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving. All seven Realtor® Association locations will be collecting donations from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday until August 5th.
