Major Investors Reception Huge Success, Elected Officials Among VIP Guests

The Realtors® of the Palm Beaches and Greater Fort Lauderdale (RAPB + GFLR) and the South Broward Board of Realtors® hosted a highly attended Realtor® Party Reception to celebrate and thank their 2018 Major Investors. The Major Investor Reception took place on June 7th at the Ritz Carlton where 125 Major Investors were acknowledged for helping the Realtors® Political Action Committee (RPAC) raise $675,000 in 2018.

The Major Investor Reception was held at the Ritz Carlton in Fort Lauderdale. Many elected officials were among the VIP guests, including: State Representative Chip LaMarca, State Representative Richard Stark, Broward County Property Appraiser Marty Kiar, Broward County Commissioner Beam Furr, Broward County Commissioner Lamar Fisher, Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis, Fort Lauderdale Commissioner Steven Glassman, Fort Lauderdale Commissioner Ben Sorensen, Pembroke Pines Commissioner Angelo Castillo, and Pompano Beach Mayor Rex Hardin.

Contributions to RPAC help protect the real estate industry and has positioned RAPB + GFLR and the South Broward Board of Realtors®, Florida Realtors®, and the National Association of Realtors® as the voice of real estate at all levels of government.

Realtor® representation in government is critical to creating and maintaining a strong environment for the real estate industry. When it comes to legislative and regulatory matters at the local, state and federal levels, the Realtor® Party supports candidates based on their positions on issues that affect the real estate industry, regardless of their party affiliation.
